My love for tea has been growing rapidly in the past year since I moved to London and went to the good and proper tea tasting at the sofa.com event. Now, when I go out to the many beautiful London cafés, I make sure they have a good tea selection because that adds to my day out experience. Sipping on a delicious tea while chatting with my friends is something I really love. Little things in life really enriches it. *MashAllah*
I have been there twice in one week. That ought to prove something to you. The name of the tea house is after the tea leaf that makes all traditional teas.
Their tea selection is complete. It starts with the four types of tea: white, green, oolong and black in the traditional flavours and some mixed one. Plus a wide selection of herbal infusions. They have light snacks and yummy deserts.
The interior of the place is very pretty, but as most places in London it's on the smaller size and it could get really packed up. The different wooden tables and chairs gives the place a rustic feel and all the tea accessories makes it homey. I also loved the flowers in the teapots on the table.
The shelves around is a great way to display products and gives a personal touch to the place.
The only thing that bothered me in this lovely little cafe is the no photography rule that some waitresses kept brining up & it's something I didn't get because pix are good publicity, but other than that I highly recommend the place. My friends and I really enjoyed it *MashAllah*
Note: Sadly this branch has closed down. They are opening a new one, but I am not sure where yet.
